One simple way to secure Santa Cecilia Orchestra’s future is to remember Santa Cecilia Orchestra in your will. There are several types of bequests, any of which may reduce the percentage of tax owed on the remainder of your estate.

 
 

With a general bequest, you simply leave a specified dollar amount to the orchestra. With a specific bequest, you designate certain asset items (the value of which may change over time).

A percentage bequest allows you to assign a certain percentage of your estate’s value to Santa Cecilia Orchestra and helps ensure that each beneficiary receives a constant proportion even though changes may occur in the size of the estate.

A residuary bequest gives Santa Cecilia Orchestra any assets that remain in your estate after other bequests have been fulfilled while a contingent bequest provides assets if certain events happen.

 
 

You can designate your estate gift for a specific purpose:

  •  Endow a scholarship fund for young musicians in our programs

  • Support Discovering Music

  •  Support our concert series

  •  Honor or memorialize a loved one

There are also estate vehicles that can provide income for a loved one, even as they benefit Santa Cecilia Orchestra.
